Book a Tour in Romania
All tours can be preceded or continued by extra days in Bucharest, on the Black Sea Coast, in the Danube Delta or anywhere else in Romania. Programs may need updates, depending on the museum programs or tourists' air schedule.
Booking terms
in order to avoid lack of necessary accommodation space, it is advisable that bookings to be made 60 days in advance before the starting date for the hotel reservation or tour. Still, we accept late bookings only in case the below payment terms can be complied with.

Payment terms
All payments have to reach our account at least 10 days prior to the beginning of the services we grant. Deposits / Advance payments will be made by bank transfer (swift).

After making the bank transfer you should send us the copy of the order by fax at +40 241 613192.
Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations must be made in writing and cancellation charges per person will apply according to the below listed cancellation terms or as agreed on.
There will be no refunds for unused tour services. This includes missed transfers due to airline schedule changes and/or missed flights, missed sightseeing tours, meals and hotel accommodations.
Cancellations (individuals, small groups):
Unless a claim for refund or adjustment is made on the spot, in the moment of happening, CONTUR TRAVEL shall be released from all liability hereunder of any nature whatsoever.
Prices and Taxes
Package tour prices are based on tariffs and exchange rates in effect as of October 01, 2005 and are subject to change without notice.
VAT and local taxes are included in all our package tour prices. Tips to tour guides, drivers, etc. are at travelers' discretion.
As shown in each itinerary is performed by modern car, minibus or motor coach.
Sightseeing
As specified in each itinerary, including entrance fee at the selected sites.
Responsibilities
CONTUR TRAVEL, Romanian tour Operator, acts only as agent for the various companies, owners or contractors providing the means of transportation, accommodations, and other services pertaining to the tour.
All exchange orders, coupons, vouchers, and tickets are issued subject to the terms and conditions under which such means of transportation, accommodations and other services are offered or provided.
The issuance and acceptance of such documentation shall be deemed to be consent to the further condition that the CONTUR TRAVEL shall not be in any way liable for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity in any vehicle or through the act or fault of any company, or person engaged in conveying the passengers, or of any hotel proprietor, personnel or servant or of any other person otherwise in connections therewith.
CONTUR TRAVEL cannot accept any responsibilities for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in air or any other services, sickness, weather, strike, war, quarantine or other causes.
All such losses or expenses will have to be borne by the passenger, as tour rates provide for arrangements only for the time stated.
CONTUR TRAVEL reserves the sole right to eliminate any tour or feature and to make changes in the itinerary as it may be necessary or desirable and to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of the tour for the whole or any part of the tour should it be deemed advisable for any reason.
The transportation companies concerned are not to be held responsible for any act; omission or events during the time passengers are not on board their carriers or conveyances. No refund will be made for any unused portion of the program.
The payment for reservations on any tour shall constitute consent of all provisions in the General Terms and Conditions published herein.

- 49 to 30 days prior to departure: 30% of total package cost
- 29 to 20 days prior to departure: 50% of total package cost
- 19 to 15 days prior to departure: 75% of total package cost
- 19 to 0 days prior to departure or no - show: 100% of total package cost

Ground Transportation- Passport fees
- Visa handling fees
- Taxes or tips on services not included in the itinerary
- Room service, laundry valet service, other personal expenses (phone calls, taxis, etc.)
- Excess baggage charges
- Personal travel or health insurance of any kind
- Wines, liquors, mineral waters, coffee or tea, food or beverages not on the regular menus of the included meals
- Airport taxes or any other taxes, such as departure tax, customs fee, are not included.
